Self-compassion is taking care of you. We all make mistakes, and we must have the ability to review them with kindness and understanding. We need to learn to be gentle with ourselves. Our performance is not enhanced when we are self-critical. Practicing self-compassion can reduce stress and assist in a positive movement forward.
